The instructor will guide you step-by-step to learn the basics of quilting. This class is designed to provide you an extensive understanding of quilting units while creating a stunning quilt. With each block, we will explore easy to achieve methods to make units. Learn to create squares, split squares, half-square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangles, half rectangles and more. Learn timesaving techniques and helpful hints throughout the process to enhance your quilting journey.
Your class includes a BONUS DAY of your choice in November or December 2026 for additional instruction to complete your project.
Total class days 10 + Bonus Day = 11 days of creative fun

Your kit includes quilt designers go-to tools. We have done the work to find the best tools available to save you time and money. Call The Studio to review the kit contents. Kit price to be reduced if you already own items.

Plus basic sewing tools:
Fabric, Thread, Pins, Scissors, Rotary Cutter, Sewing Machine with 1/4" or Universal Foot (preferred both), Machine Needle, Bobbin, Thread
Participants are to have all fabrics precut and labeled prior to class.

| Requirements: | By registering for the class, you confirm: I have access to a sewing machine in good working condition with a manual. I am confident in the following functions: How to Thread the Machine, Wind a Bobbin, and Adjust Stitch Length. I am confident using a rotary cutter with a quilt ruler, and an iron. I understand it is my responsibility to provide my personal tools including but not limited to fabric, rotary cutter/rulers, and scissors. I am responsible for the tools. I agree to respectfully follow instructions, ask questions, and converse. All class fees and products purchased in-person or online are non-refundable.
